A HISTORY IN THE WATER

SOAP LAKE AND ITS
MINERAL WATERS

For generations, Soap Lake has drawn visitors to its shores because of the distinctive character of its mineral-rich waters. Shaped by ancient geological forces, the lake became known for its unusual mineral composition and naturally buoyant, alkaline waters.

Long before the resort was established, Soap Lake held significance for Indigenous communities. In 1905, the first lodge appeared along the lake’s shores, beginning a tradition of hospitality that continues today.

Today, Soap Lake Resort carries that history forward, bringing together lakeside hospitality, mineral water, and modern wellness while remaining connected to the character of the lake.
