The story
With one room left to name, Marina knew exactly who it belonged to.
The House of Poverty honors Monte Holmes — a scrap‑metal man from Moses Lake who kept a small railroad museum and had a gift for seeing value in forgotten things. When Marina was building and decorating the Lodge, she often visited Monte’s yard for inspiration, finding pieces that carried history and character. The final unnamed cabin became his tribute: two floors, a jetted tub, and a model train at the head of the bed upstairs — a quiet nod to Monte Holmes of Moses Lake Iron & Metals.

Train‑themed, two‑story cabin with one king bed in the upstairs loft and one queen bed downstairs. Includes two bathrooms, a sleeper sofa, microwave, mini‑fridge, coffee pot, bar sink, glassware, dishware, and utensils (no kitchen). Dining area for four, two‑person jetted tub in the main room with mineral‑water option, and an upstairs walk‑out deck with partial lake view and outdoor seating. Pet‑friendly unit.
